Your single edge will break.
SI-Trader has 50 ready.

Traders — listen. The market doesn't stay in one mood. The one setup that worked last month goes cold, and a single-edge bot keeps forcing it until your account pays for it. SI-Trader scans 50 trading edges live, scores every one, and only takes the highest of the highest — the setup that actually fits today's market.

Why a single edge will break on you

Every trader has lived this. Your one setup prints money for weeks — then the market changes character, and the same setup starts bleeding. It's not bad luck. It's how markets work. Here's why one edge is never enough:

01

Markets change regimes

Trending days become range days. Quiet opens become news-driven spikes. A trend-only edge has nothing to eat in a chop — and a range-only edge gets run over in a trend. One edge only works in one weather.

02

Crowded trades decay

When everyone sees the same obvious setup, it gets front-run, faked out, and stopped out. Edges wear out in public. If your whole system is that one setup, your whole system wears out with it.

03

Volatility rewrites the rules

A setup tuned for calm 5-point ranges behaves completely differently when the market is moving 30 points an hour. Stops, targets, and timing all break at once — right when the risk is biggest.

04

A single edge tempts you to force it

When your bot only knows one trick, it takes that trick on bad days too — or you override it manually and tilt. Either way, a one-edge system has no plan B, so it trades when it should be standing aside.

The fix isn't a better single edge. It's more edges, ranked live.

SI-Trader doesn't ask “is my one setup here?” It asks “of 50 setups, which one fits this market, right now, with the highest score?” If none clears the bar, it can stand aside instead of forcing a trade. That's the whole design.

The SI-Trader system

50 edges. Scanned live. Only the highest of the highest trades.

SI-Trader (strategy name: TraderAIAgent) runs inside NinjaTrader 8. Attach it to one 1-minute chart — it builds its own 3-minute and 5-minute context internally.

  • Every scan, all 50 edges get scored

At 09:30, 10:00 and 14:00 ET, SI-Trader checks its full library, scores each edge against what's actually happening, and ranks them. The trade only fires when the top score clears the confidence threshold.

  • Trades 09:35–15:30 ET. Flat by 15:55.

A defined session, every day. Whatever is open is closed by 15:55 ET — SI-Trader never holds overnight.

  • Calculates On Bar Close

Decisions are made on completed bars, not on flickering mid-bar noise.

The on-chart dashboard

SI-Trader draws its own dashboard on your NinjaTrader chart, so you always see what it's thinking:

Exact dashboard layout is confirmed when the protected version is tested in NinjaTrader 8 before launch.

Risk controls

Hard limits, set before the first trade

These are the defaults SI-Trader ships with. Every one of them can be adjusted to your account and your style — see Customize below.

ControlDefaultWhat it does
Position size1 contractFixed quantity of 1 by default.
Risk per trade$300 maxCaps the planned risk on any single trade.
Daily loss limit$1,000Stops trading for the day once hit.
Daily profit target$1,500Stops trading for the day once reached.
Trades per day3 maxNo more than three trades in a session day.
Loss kill switch3 lossesThree losing trades in a row and it stops for the day.
End of dayFlat 15:55 ETAll positions closed. No overnight holds.

Risk limits reduce how much a bad day can hurt — they do not make trading safe and cannot guarantee you won't lose money. See the full risk warning at the bottom.

Your system, your settings

Customize everything

SI-Trader is not a black box with one locked setting. You run it in your NinjaTrader, on your account, with your rules. Set it up the way you trade:

🎯

Risk per trade

Raise or lower the maximum dollars risked on a single trade from the $300 default.

🛑

Daily loss & profit limits

Set the daily stop and the daily target that end your trading day.

📦

Position size

Trade 1 contract or size up as your account and experience allow.

📊

Confidence threshold

Make SI pickier (fewer, higher-quality trades) or more active — your call.

🔢

Trades per day & kill switch

Cap daily trades and set how many straight losses shut it down.

🕒

Session behaviour

Work within the built-in scan and flat-by-15:55 session structure that keeps it a day-trading system.

📈

Market & template

Any futures market, with ready templates for NQ, MNQ, ES, MES and CL.

🤖

AI & alerts

Turn the optional OpenAI validation and Telegram alerts on or off — they're off by default.

Start with the shipped defaults in simulation, watch how it behaves on your market, then tune one setting at a time. That's how real traders dial in a system.

Instruments & templates

Trades any futures market. Ready to run on five.

The strategy can trade anything you can chart in NinjaTrader. Ready-to-use templates are included for:

NQ · Nasdaq-100 E-mini MNQ · Micro Nasdaq-100 ES · S&P 500 E-mini MES · Micro S&P 500 CL · Crude Oil

Load the template for your contract, attach the strategy to a 1-minute chart, and that market's settings are already in place. Trading something else? Start from any template and adjust it yourself.

Backtest note

What the founder's backtest showed — stated plainly

2.5Profit factor

In the founder's own backtest over the last 6 months, on MNQ and NQ, SI-Trader showed a profit factor of 2.5 — for every $1 lost in that test, $2.50 was made.

Read this before you rely on that number

This is a founder-reported backtest result — it has not been independently verified. The backtest settings were not provided with the original strategy file, and there is no verified live-trading record behind it. Live results will vary and can be losses. Past performance is not indicative of future results.

Connect OpenAI — if you want to

A second brain on standby. You're in charge of it.

SI-Trader's core runs entirely on its own 50-edge scoring — no AI account needed, ever. But if you want an extra check before a trade, you can connect OpenAI and let it validate the setup first.

  • Optional validation — off by default

Turn it on and SI-Trader can ask OpenAI's gpt-5-mini model to sanity-check a setup before entry. It uses your own OpenAI key, in your NinjaTrader. It's a validation layer only — the strategy's signals come from its edges and scoring, not from the AI.

  • No key? No problem.

Leave it off and nothing changes about the core system. No extra subscription, no per-trade AI cost unless you choose to enable it.

  • Telegram alerts — also optional, also off

A Telegram bridge is included for notifications if you configure it. Like the AI validation, it ships switched off, with no keys stored in the file.

FAQ — 55 questions

Everything a trader might ask. Answered straight.

Search the questions, or open a category. If it's about risk, the honest answer is in here too.

Getting started
1. What exactly is SI-Trader?

An automated futures trading strategy for NinjaTrader 8 (strategy name: TraderAIAgent). It scans 50 trading edges on a 1-minute chart, scores them, and trades only when the top score clears a confidence threshold — with hard daily risk limits built in.

2. Which platform does it run on?

NinjaTrader 8 only. You import it into NT8 and attach it to a chart. It does not run on TradingView, MetaTrader, Thinkorswim, or any other platform.

3. Is it a subscription?

No. It's one payment of $569. No monthly SI-Trader fee, no renewal. Your own separate costs — broker, market data, NinjaTrader itself — are yours, as with any trading setup.

4. How do I receive it after I pay?

By email. After payment, an email arrives with a private download link for your copy of SI-Trader and the included templates. Nothing is posted on a public link.

5. Can I buy it right now?

Checkout is being connected and the protected version is being finished first, so no payment is taken on this page today. Sales open when both are ready — the buy button below will go live then.

6. I'm new to automated trading. Is this for me?

It's built to run itself inside NinjaTrader, but automated does not mean risk-free or hands-off forever. Start in simulation, learn the dashboard, understand the risk settings, and only go live when you understand what it's doing. If you've never run a strategy in NT8, simulation first is non-negotiable.

7. Do I need to know how to code?

No. You import the package, attach it to a chart, load a template, and adjust settings in the strategy properties. No coding is required to run it.

How it trades
8. What is a “trading edge”?

A repeatable market pattern with a statistical reason to exist — an opening-range breakout, a VWAP reclaim, an EMA trend pullback, a reversal at extremes, and so on. SI-Trader carries 50 of them instead of betting your account on one.

9. How many edges does SI-Trader have?

50 trading edges, checked and scored at every scan.

10. Why is one edge not enough?

Because markets change regimes, crowded setups decay, and volatility rewrites behaviour. A single edge only works in one kind of market — when that market goes away, the edge keeps trading and loses. With 50 edges, SI-Trader can use the setup that fits today, or stand aside. See the “Why a single edge will break” section above.

11. How does the scoring work?

At each scan, every edge is evaluated against current chart conditions and given a score. The edges are ranked, and a trade is only taken when the highest score clears the confidence threshold. Highest of the highest — not first signal that appears.

12. When does it scan the market?

Three scheduled scans a day: 09:30, 10:00 and 14:00 Eastern Time — the open, the morning follow-through, and the afternoon session.

13. When does it actually trade?

The trading window is 09:35 to 15:30 ET. It calculates On Bar Close, so decisions are made on completed bars.

14. Does it trade every day, every scan?

No — and that's by design. If no edge scores above the threshold, there's no trade. Forcing trades on dead days is exactly how single-edge systems bleed.

15. Does it hold positions overnight?

No. Everything is closed by 15:55 ET, every day. It's a day-trading system.

16. Why does it attach to a 1-minute chart if it uses 3 and 5 minutes?

You attach it to a 1-minute chart only. It builds its own 3-minute and 5-minute context internally, so there's nothing extra to configure on the chart.

17. What happens on a choppy, directionless day?

Scores tend to stay low, so it may take few or no trades. The daily loss limit, trade cap, and loss kill switch are the backstop if it does trade and the day goes against it. No system wins on chop — the goal is not to donate on it.

18. What does the on-chart dashboard show?

The session and scan state, edge scores and signals, daily P&L and risk state, trades taken today, the loss streak counter, and whether a position is open or flat — directly on your chart.

Risk controls
19. What's the default position size?

1 contract, fixed, by default. You can change it in the settings.

20. How much can one trade risk by default?

The default maximum planned risk is $300 per trade.

21. Is there a daily loss limit?

Yes — $1,000 by default. Hit it and SI-Trader stops trading for the day.

22. Is there a daily profit target?

Yes — $1,500 by default. Reach it and it stops for the day, locking in the session instead of giving it back.

23. How many trades can it take in a day?

Maximum 3 trades per day by default.

24. What is the kill switch?

Three losing trades in a row and the strategy stops for the day. It exists to break a losing streak before it becomes a blow-up day.

25. Do these risk controls guarantee I won't lose money?

No. They cap how bad a single day can get under normal conditions — they cannot eliminate loss, slippage, gaps, or execution issues. Futures trading can lose some or all of your capital. Read the risk warning at the bottom of this page.

26. Can I make the risk limits tighter?

Yes. Lower the per-trade risk, daily loss limit, position size, or trades per day to suit a smaller account — that's exactly what the customization is for. Many traders start tighter than the defaults.

Customization
27. Can I customize the settings?

Yes — risk per trade, daily loss and profit limits, position size, confidence threshold, trades per day, and the loss kill switch are all adjustable in the strategy settings in NinjaTrader. Start from the defaults in simulation and change one thing at a time.

28. Can I change how picky it is about trades?

Yes. Raise the confidence threshold for fewer, higher-scoring trades, or lower it for more activity. Higher is not automatically better — test it in simulation on your market.

29. Can I trade more than 1 contract?

The default is a fixed quantity of 1, and the quantity setting can be increased. Only size up with money and experience that justify it — size multiplies losses exactly as it multiplies wins.

30. Can I run it on more than one market?

The strategy can be attached to a chart for the market you want to trade, using that market's template. Running multiple instances at once multiplies your total risk — your daily limits are per instance, so plan your account risk accordingly.

31. Are the templates' settings fixed?

No. Templates for NQ, MNQ, ES, MES and CL give you a ready starting point for each market. You can adjust from there and save your own version.

Instruments & templates
32. What can SI-Trader trade?

Any futures market you can chart in NinjaTrader — no instrument is locked in. Its ready-to-use templates cover the five most popular contracts below.

33. Which templates are included?

NQ (Nasdaq-100 E-mini), MNQ (Micro Nasdaq-100), ES (S&P 500 E-mini), MES (Micro S&P 500), and CL (Crude Oil).

34. I trade a different futures market. Can I still use it?

Yes. Start from the closest template, adjust the settings for your market, and test thoroughly in simulation before live use — your market's volatility and tick value are different.

35. Should I start on micros (MNQ / MES) or minis (NQ / ES)?

If you're new to the system, micros let you learn its live behaviour with far smaller dollar swings per point. Many traders validate on micros first, then decide. That's a risk decision, and it's yours.

OpenAI & Telegram
36. Do I need an OpenAI account or API key?

No. The core strategy runs entirely on its own scoring. OpenAI is an optional extra only.

37. How does the OpenAI connection work?

If you enable it, SI-Trader can send a setup to OpenAI's gpt-5-mini model for a validation check before a trade, using your own OpenAI API key entered in your own NinjaTrader. It is off by default.

38. Does OpenAI decide the trades?

No. Signals come from the 50 edges and the scoring engine. OpenAI, when enabled, is a second-opinion validation layer — it does not generate the strategy's signals.

39. Does using OpenAI cost extra?

If you enable it, OpenAI usage is billed by OpenAI to your own key, under your own account. SI-Trader itself charges nothing per trade. Leave it off and there is no AI cost at all.

40. What is the Telegram option for?

Optional notifications. A Telegram bridge is included so you can receive alerts if you choose to configure it. It ships off, with no keys stored in the file.

41. Are any API keys included or stored in SI-Trader?

No. Both the OpenAI and Telegram options ship switched off with empty keys. Anything you enable uses your own keys, on your own machine.

Setup, broker & running it
42. How do I install it?

Import the downloaded package into NinjaTrader 8, attach the strategy to a 1-minute chart, and load the template for your market. A detailed step-by-step install guide is planned for after the site — it is not included yet.

43. What else do I need besides SI-Trader?

A computer running NinjaTrader 8, a brokerage account compatible with NinjaTrader, and a market data feed for your instruments. SI-Trader is the strategy — the account, data, and platform are your existing trading setup.

44. Which broker should I use?

Any broker you already use with NinjaTrader 8 that supports automated strategies on your account. SI-Trader doesn't require a specific broker and doesn't include a brokerage account.

45. Can I run it in simulation first?

Yes — and you should. Run it on NinjaTrader's simulated feed for several sessions, watch the dashboard and scores, and confirm the risk settings behave the way you expect before any live capital is involved.

46. Do I need a VPS?

Not required. It runs wherever your NinjaTrader 8 runs. Many automated traders use a VPS for a stable, always-on connection during the session — that's a personal infrastructure choice, not an SI-Trader requirement.

47. Can I run it on a Mac?

NinjaTrader 8 is a Windows application. Mac traders typically run it via a Windows VPS or a virtualisation setup. SI-Trader follows whatever your NinjaTrader runs on.

48. Can I use it on a prop firm / funded account?

Only if that firm's rules allow automated strategies and NinjaTrader on your account — prop firm rules vary and change, and some restrict automation. Check your firm's current terms before running any automated system on an evaluation or funded account. SI-Trader makes no representation that a firm will accept it.

49. Can I stop it at any time?

Yes. It's your NinjaTrader and your account — you can disable the strategy, flatten a position, or shut it down whenever you want. The built-in limits are guardrails, not a lock-in.

50. What if my internet or computer drops mid-session?

Like any locally-run NinjaTrader strategy, it needs NinjaTrader running and connected to manage trades and enforce its end-of-day flat. A dropped connection is a real operational risk of automated trading — a stable setup (and, for many traders, a VPS) reduces it. Check your broker's position and orders directly after any outage.

Results, licence & honesty
51. What does “profit factor 2.5” mean?

Profit factor is gross profit divided by gross loss in a test. 2.5 means the backtest made $2.50 for every $1 it lost, over that test period.

52. Where does the 2.5 number come from?

The founder's own backtest over the last 6 months, on MNQ and NQ. It is founder-reported, not independently verified, and the backtest settings were not provided with the original strategy file. There is no verified live-trading record behind it.

53. Does SI-Trader guarantee profits?

No — and run from any trading system that does. Live results will vary and can be losses, including on days the risk controls work exactly as designed. Past performance is not indicative of future results.

54. Can I share it with my trading partner or group?

No. The licence is one purchase for one buyer: no sharing, no reselling, no redistribution. That's also why it's delivered as a protected version tied to the buyer, not open source code.

55. Is SI-Trader financial advice?

No. It's software — a tool that executes a defined strategy in your account. Nothing on this page is a recommendation to trade any instrument. Decisions to trade live, size, and risk are yours alone.
